PeopleTech is a collaborative project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide postsecondary learning opportunities to students with sensory and/or learning disabilities. Its primary focus is on mathematics, science, and social science subjects, where there are particular challenges in creating accessible curricula for these students.
The project's main mission is to explore and demonstrate a variety of teaching techniques for students with disabilities. Toward that goal, our project team brings a great deal of knowledge, experience, and dedication. Closely collaborating with veteran faculty members who dedicate their time and experience to pedagogy and student-centered approaches to the subject areas that they teach, the project team weaves together multiple components to bring successful outcomes. Through historical and other experiences of this project team, PeopleTech hopes to promote teaching excellence.
