In an effort to ensure that all students receive effective postsecondary education, the City University of New York was granted a unique opportunity to conduct research on strategies and techniques used to teach students with disabilities by the U.S. Department of Education. The PeopleTech Project seeks partnerships with experienced and interested faculty members that will take a leadership role in developing access strategies and material as well as test new methodologies and technologies that can aid students to complete their coursework for mathematics, science, and social science courses.
In its final year, the Department of Education has requested that PeopleTech conduct a nation-wide survey that will gather anonymous data regarding faculty knowledge and experience with respect to students with disabilities. In addition, this survey is designed to find the most comfortable method for training delivery. The results from this survey will aid PeopleTech in designing a more comprehensive set of material and strategies that will be freely available to everyone wishing to use them.
In the following survey, please respond to questions based on your experience and knowledge. All data gathered via this survey will be anonymous. The results will only be analyzed and reported in aggregate. The results of this survey will be available at http://www.people-tech-project.net/survey/results when analyzed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
